Chantelle Booysen
Chantelle is a global mental health advocate with lived experience from South Africa. She represents both local and international mental health organizations, with her main focus on creating mental health support solutions for young people as well as addressing unemployment caused by mental health conditions in the workplace. Currently she represents The Lancet Commission on Global Mental Health as a Youth Leader, The South African Depression and Anxiety Group as Project Manager and Youth Ambassador, Global Mental Health Peer Network as Executive Committee Member, and The Movement for Global Mental Health as an Advisory Board Member. Chantelle is in the process of completing an International Diploma in Mental Health, Human Rights and Law at the Indian Law Society in collaboration with the WHO as well as a studying towards a Law Degree, part time.
