Erin O’Donnell

Erin O’Donnell is a placement manager at EF Education First in the au pair division, where she consults with host families and au pairs from around the world.
She received a B.A. in Psychology and International Relations with an emphasis on global health from Tufts University. Upon graduating, she spent two years with City Year, an education-focused non-profit that seeks to close the achievement gap in under-served schools across the United States. During her time with City Year, she served in a 10th grade classroom in Boston, MA and then on the founding year team in Sacramento, CA where she lead a team in a middle school.

Having lived in six countries, Erin has experienced a variety of educational school systems. These experiences profoundly shaped her passion for education as a human right and powerful social equalizer. She plans to further her interests in nonprofit management and urban affairs and will be returning to graduate school in 2015.
